The Misty showing area is underlain by Devonian to Permian sedimentary rocks of the Stikine Assemblage. The stratigraphy is intruded by Early Jurassic granodiorite of the Texas Creek Plutonic Suite and Eocene granite of the Major Hart Pluton.

Grab sample 463901 yielded a value of 1.23 grams per tonne gold, with slightly elevated silver, copper and zinc values (Assessment Report 21138). The sample consists of traces of chalcopyrite and sphalerite within foliated, highly chloritic, mafic volcanics. Only 0.5 metre is exposed due to overburden cover, but similar gossanous outcrops were observed in the immediate vicinity.
